Loyd
H. Rawls, ChFC, CLU, MSFS, is Partner/Director, CEO and Founder of The
Rawls Company, The Rawls Company, Family Business Resource Center Rawls
Employee Benefits and The International Succession Planning Association.
Loyd and his associates have provided financial & consulting services
for the owners and key executives of closely-held, capital intensive family
businesses throughout the country since 1973. A native of Fayetteville,
NC, Loyd graduated from NC State University in 1968. After serving 4 years
as an officer in the US Air Force, Loyd moved to Orlando, Florida, where
he achieved his goals to become a financial planner, Certified Chartered
Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and received his M.S. in
Financial Services from the American College. Author of Seeking
Succession - How to Continue the Family Business Legacy, Your Golden
Goose, The Family Business Council, and The Succession Bridge: Key
Manager Succession Alternatives for Family Owned Businesses. His
columns in Family Business Magazine, BottomLine Business, DEALER Magazine,
Beer Perspectives, Auto Success Magazine and RV News, focus on debunking
the fears of business owners and encouraging them to begin their succession
planning early.
Daniel
J. Thill, CFP®, is a Partner/Director and Chief Operating Officer
of The Rawls Company / Family Business Resource Center. A member
of The Rawls Company since 1990, his responsibilities include that of senior
succession plan designer and facilitator. He specializes in asset management
programs, investment analysis, investment planning and non-qualified deferred
compensation plans. Prior to his work with The Rawls Company, Dan was an account
executive with a major Wall Street brokerage firm. He earned an AS in Business
from New York State University at Delhi and a BS in Finance from Pennsylvania
State University.
Ricci
M. Victorio, MA, is a Partner/Director and Vice-President of The Rawls
Company / Family Business Resource Center. Associated with The
Rawls Company since 1994, Ricci has been principally responsible for developing
the programs for teamwork and leadership training, strategic planning, Management
Advisory Board facilitation, communication enhancement programs, and successor
curriculum programs. Ricci’s ability to pinpoint challenges, uncover
opportunities and teach management groups how to be better teams has created
a significant impact upon many businesses. The outcome is one of a higher
level of productivity and enhanced ability for management teams to work
together. Ms. Victorio has been providing corporate training programs to
Fortune 500 companies across the country since 1984. Author of her first
novel, Lost
and Found, Ricci has been an invited speaker, webinar &
seminar presenter to many industry association "Twenty Groups",
the Florida Auto Dealers Association,Young Presidents' Organization (YPO),
TEC Florida & Southern California, 2007 RV Dealers Association, the
2006, 2007 & 2008 National Automobile Dealers Association Convention
and most recently for WineAmerica.
Hugh
B. Roberts, CFP®, is a Partner/Director with The Rawls Company. Associated
with The Family Business Resource Center and The Rawls Company since 1996,
Hugh became the managing partner of the Southern California office in 2002.
Hugh has been providing estate and business succession planning leadership
to business owners nationwide since 1982. Mr. Roberts has a BA from the
University of Colorado and an MA from Fuller Seminary. Hugh has provided
seminars & webinars to over 60 business association “Twenty Groups,”
the North Carolina Auto Dealers Association, Utah Auto Dealers Association,
The Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), TEC Florida and the 1999, 2000,
2002, 2004, 2006 & 2007 National Automobile Dealers Association Conventions.
Woodward
G. Brenton, MBA, Partner and Director of Investment Planning for The Rawls Company and Associate with the Family Business Resource Center,
provides family business succession advisory services to family owned and
closely held businesses. Associated with The Rawls Company since 2003, Woody
earned his BA from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and MBA in finance
from the University of Chicago. He also participated in the master’s
program of Johns Hopkins School of International Studies in Washington D.C.
Prior to joining
The Rawls Company, Woody served for 20 years in executive capacities at Brenton
Bank of Iowa, a family controlled company, before its sale to Wells Fargo.
Prior to that, he spent five years in New York City at Manufacturers Hanover
Trust Co. and Marine Midland Bank. Woody has served on the boards of many
business and philanthropic organizations in a variety of roles, including
finance chair, fundraising, and strategic planning.
David
Ciambella, CFP® is a Partner with The Rawls Company. David
has been associated with The Rawls Company since 1996 and works exclusively
with the owners and key executives of family owned businesses. David specializes
in addressing and solving complex problems/issues that arise as a result
of comprehensively addressing business succession. David is a highly energetic
and outgoing succession planning specialist who has spoken to various industry
groups which include automotive and marine to name a few. A native of Philadelphia,
PA, David graduated from Rollins College in 1991 with a B.A. in Psychology.
After beginning his career in the financial services industry, David earned
his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. He currently resides
in Winter Park, FL with his wife and three sons.
Jeff
Faulkner, MS, is a Partner with The Rawls Company. Jeff relies
upon his background in family counseling to navigate the unique challenges
of family business succession. He is a graduate of Georgia State University,
where he earned a Master of Science degree in counseling. Jeff holds several
insurance and NASD registrations and is an investment advisor representative.
He is also working toward the Certified Financial Planner® designation
to further enhance his financial planning skills. He has been with The Rawls Company since 2002, and is responsible for cultivating and analyzing client
relationships.
